EcoTravel Insight was founded in 2019 by a small team of conservationists, writers, and adventurers who believed that travel could be a force for planetary regeneration — not just consumption.
We started as a small newsletter. Today, we're a global community of 48,000+ conscious travellers actively choosing experiences that protect biodiversity, uplift communities, and restore the natural systems we all depend on.
Based in Tokyo, Japan, we work with eco-certified operators on every continent — from Patagonian trekking companies to Himalayan community lodges — applying rigorous sustainability criteria to every recommendation we make.
